Column-Assisted Electric Power Steering (C-EPS)

The Column-Assisted EPS (C-EPS) combines the electronics ( ECU, sensor and electric motor) and the power assist mechanism within the steering column. It is the ideal solution for compact vehicles with limited space in their engine compartment. Approximately 60% of automobiles equipped with an EPS system utilize column-assisted electric power steering (C-EPS).

Pinion-Assisted Electric Power Steering (P-EPS)
